Josh’s personal work is of a wonderfully lackadaisical yet deliberate snapshot aesthetic. Reminiscent of early colour film travel photography, his work has nods to the styles of Vivian Maier, William Eggleston, Martin Parr & Stephen Shore.

Josh’s journey started with a basic point-and-shoot camera on a trip through the U.S. and Canada when he was 18. He vowed to upgrade for his next adventure, and after five years and six continents, his love for street and travel photography was cemented. He graduated with a Bachelor of Media from The University of Adelaide, turned down a marketing job offer, and jumped into freelancing full-time—something he wishes he’d done sooner.

Outside of photography, Josh is a passionate cook, a bedroom DJ, an eager traveler, and a record collector. He loves diving into challenging situations that push him to grow both personally and professionally.
